Centre Re-opening June 2021
The Summer Street Centre is a community centre in the heart of Stoke, in Stoke-on-Trent.
Our attractive and light building is used by a number of groups, organisations and individuals for a variety of activities, including: music, crafts, health, celebrations and dance & fitness groups. It is also the home of Stoke Baptist Church who meet in the building and keep it looking nice.
Inside the centre are two good-sized rooms which can be opened up to one large room. Both rooms are carpeted and have comfy chairs and tables which can be arranged to suit the needs of each group. We have a well-equipped kitchen, a smaller craft room and accessible toilets.
Have a look around our website and see what goes on in our building - if you are interested in joining in any of the activities, or in using the centre for your own activities, then do contact us.

We have followed the latest government guidance to make sure the building is Covid safe for visitors.
Only regular groups will take place, for now we cannot accept one-off bookings.
Only one toilet is available so it you plan on visiting please try to avoid using the toilet if at all possible.
The centre is run by volunteers so we hope you understand our need to limit the facilities for now.

We are happy to announce that the church gathering will recomence on Sunday 6th June 2021. For the time being, we will hold simple worship services at 10.30am on Sunday mornings. If you are planning on joining us please bring along a face mask (of 3 layers).
We are now able to offer reasonably priced weddings at the centre, for opposite and same sex marriage. For more infomation click here.
